Barren, stripped by wind,
Red as Blood mixed with fire,
Land upon the cold ground.
Swaying in the crisp air.
The wind chills the bone.
Sharp, sweet pain fills the chest.
Slowly loosing feeling, numb.
Crushing – walking - diamonds.
Beating of the small drum,
Coursing red river flows.
No thoughts just the moment,
Soft sounds crystal clear.
Chilled ground at dawn,
Vainly thawed by morning light.
Scenery of jewelled magnificence.
Timeless, sadly does it fade.

The air is thick and bitter
The intangible darkness looms
Lovingly does it encompass her
Locked inside an ancient tomb
A deep rumbling of evil intent
Torrents of chilling droplets
Never will the numbness relent
Tears falling for her regrets
Confusion reigns, building desperation
Save my soul from the damned
Hope engulfed, constant intimidation
Self decimation always demanded
Fall from grace so high
Into the pale embrace of night
Freedom and salvation, nigh
Waiting for her return to the light
Searching for the arms to hold
Her broken shattered mind
Love to heal, will he behold
The beauty or be blind
